Red And White Striped Dolphin Shorts

Embed images in OpenOffice

was creating PDF versions of some of my courses, in a way that should be simple: update the web copy and hit on OpenOffice.org (in particular on Writer) and generated the PDF.
The problem is that I like to keep a copy formats also "editable" in the very format OpenOffice ODT ... but when you copy and paste a web page on OpenOffice writer, the pictures are not included, but linked, so that remain on the web, not in the document with the problems of slow every time you walk through the document and risk that someone else try to use that document and found no images.

But the solution is easy: After you copy and paste the website or the fragment of interest, with pictures and everything have to enter the menu "Edit" and the "Links". Then select all the images that we are interested to include as part of the document (in my case, all of it) and click on "Cancel".

With that no longer become links and images embedded in the document, which you can edit without being connected to the web, or give to others.

possibility is a very useful and hard to find (even Google), so I leave it here ...
